The tall ship FRYDERYK CHOPIN has been demasted in force 9 gale winds on her voyage to the Caribbean.

All hands are safe, and she is being towed back to port in England.

Boston visit of JUAN SEBASTIAN de ELCANO, 370' tall ships from Spain

The 4-masted, 370' top-sail schooner JUAN SEBASTIAN will visit Boston, June 13th-21st, 2010.

Built in 1927, with a design from famed yacht designer Nicholson, JSDE is one of the most elegant tall ships in the world.









The JUAN SEBASTIAN de ELCANO, a 4-masted top-sail  schooner of the Spanish Navy will be calling on the Port of Boston and berthed at the World Trade Center, One Seaport Lane, Boston, MA 02210 from June 13 to June 21, 2010. There will be public boarding and viewing of the ship on Wednesday June 16 from 3:30-4:30 pm , Friday from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, 3:30 pm – 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm, Saturday June 20th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and 3:30 pm – 6:00 pm and on Sunday June 20th from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm with final visiting hours on Sunday from 3:30 pm – 6:00 p.m. Naturally times are subject to change.
